This will be the home for EDI news, updates, questions, tips, experiences and general information about IAIABC EDI standards, with the purpose to stimulate conversation around EDI interests, issues, opportunities and other relevant information. This community replaces the EDI Blog.
Open to U.S. Jurisdictional and EDI Members.

These communities are for reviewing and commenting on Issue Resolution Requests (IRRs). Those who are active participants in the EDI Claims, Medical/eBilling, Proof of Coverage, and Systems Committees have access to the communities and are encouraged to take part in the discussions.

  • IAIABC Elects 2016-2017 Board of Directors

    On September 29 at its 102nd Convention, members elected the 2016-2017 IAIABC Board of Directors, the governing body of the Association. The Board of Directors is comprised of leaders from twelve jurisdictional agencies and two ex-officio members.

  • IAIABC President’s Award Recipients Recognized at 102nd Convention

    IAIABC President R.D. Maynard recognized eight individuals at the IAIABC 102nd Convention for their commitment and dedication to improving workers' compensation and their service to the IAIABC.

  • US Dept. of Labor Releases Report on State of Workers' Compensation

    The US Department of Labor released a report on October 5, 2016 stating the need to explore policy issues such as increasing federal oversight of workers' compensation; strengthening the linkage between injury and illness prevention; long-term management of worker disabilities; and whether to update coordination between Medicare, SSDI, and workers' compensation.

  • Two Agencies Recognized With Inaugural IAIABC Innovation Awards

    The IAIABC is pleased to recognize the Washington Department of Labor and Industries and the Virginia Workers' Compensation Commission for their innovation in workers' compensation through the inaugural IAIABC Innovation Awards.

  • 2016 Foundations Program Concludes with 11 Certificate Earners

    The IAIABC Foundations of Workers' Compensation Administration Program has concluded, awarding eleven participants with certificates of completion. Foundations provides comprehensive education in workers’ compensation policy and administration to jurisdictional agency staff.
