Get Involved

There are countless ways for IAIABC members to get involved in the Association and utilize their membership to its full potential. Upon involvement, members can make connections and build relationships to develop a strong network of contacts. Active members can also keep up with current news and upcoming trends in workers’ compensation to enable proactive decision-making and responses.

Following are a few ways to begin your IAIABC involvement!

-         Submit news and information.
What is going on in your jurisdiction or company that would be of interest to IAIABC members?
-         Engage in IAIABC Discussion Forums.
Share with fellow members the challenges you are facing or questions you would like answered.
-         Work with a task force on a special project.
Task forces address specific ‘hot’ topics in workers’ compensation, and your expertise could make a difference to a model law, white paper, or other task force product.
-         Join a committee.
Committees discuss issues impacting some of the most dynamic areas of workers’ compensation and oftentimes address specific issues by creating responses such as white papers or best practices.
-         Write an article for the IAIABC Journal or E-nnouncements.
Members are encouraged to share their expertise and new research findings through IAIABC publications.
-         Suggest questions for member surveys.
IAIABC staff can survey a large network of jurisdictions and industry stakeholders to answer your pressing questions.
-         Participate in new member outreach.
New members often have many questions and can be unsure about how and where to get involved. As an active member, your availability to extend peer support is extremely appreciated and a priceless benefit to newly initiated members.
