Types of IAIABC Membership

There are different types of IAIABC membership that recognize the unique needs and situations of your company or agency. Dues are paid annually by the calendar year, and can be pro-rated on a quarterly basis for new members (see 'Pro-rated Dues' for these dues amounts).

Following are the membership categories, and the benefits and annual dues that are associated with each category. Please note all dues amounts are in U.S. dollars.

Jurisdictional Membership

Jurisdictional members are governmental agencies, commissions, boards, councils and courts.

  • All employees of the governmental agency are eligible to receive member benefits and discounted event fees. 
  • All agency employees have access to "Members Only" content on the IAIABC website.
  • There are two types of Jurisdictional members: U.S. and Non-U.S. (International). Both types of Jurisdictional members are entitled to the same member benefits, except U.S. Jurisdictional are also considered EDI members.

    U.S. Jurisidictional Annual Dues: $500 per congressional district with minimum dues of $1,500 and maximum of $9,000

    Non-U.S. Jurisdictional Annual Dues: $950

Associate Corporate Membership

Associate Corporate members are associations, insurers, employers, medical providers, and more. Associate Corporate membership includes employees in branch or remote offices of the same company and parent or majority-owned subsidiary companies. **PLEASE NOTE: Corporate members do NOT receive complimentary access to EDI Implementation Guides and other EDI products created by the IAIABC and EDI members. Only EDI and U.S. Jurisdictional members receive this access. Guides can be purchased at the online store.**

  • All employees are eligible to receive member benefits and discounted event fees. 
  • All organization employees have access to "Members Only" content on the IAIABC website.

    Associate Corporate Annual Dues: $1,000

Associate Individual Membership

Associate Individual members are individuals/employees with professional or personal interest in workers' compensation.

  • Only the individual member is eligible to receive member benefits and discounted event fees.
  • Only the individual member is allowed to access "Members Only" content on the IAIABC website.
  • This membership is not transferable.

    Associate Individual Annual Dues: $500

EDI Membership

EDI members are Associate member companies with a desire to be on the front lines of setting national EDI standards. EDI are also considered Associate Corporate Members. **PLEASE NOTE: Only EDI and U.S. Jurisdictional members receive complimentary access to EDI Implementation Guides and other EDI products created by the IAIABC and EDI members.**

  • All employees are eligible to receive member benefits and discounted event fees.
  • All employees have access to "Members Only" content on the IAIABC website.
  • All employees have access to EDI Implementation Guides and other EDI products created by the IAIABC and EDI members.

    EDI Annual Dues: EDI member dues are proportionally based on usage of EDI. Please see 'EDI New Member Dues' for more information.

City/County Membership

City/County members are local city or county government agencies.

  • All employees of the City/County agency are eligible to receive member benefits and discounted event fees.  
  • All organization employees have access to "Members Only" content on the IAIABC website.

    City/County Annual Dues: $500
