EDI Training
Through fun, activity based learning experiences, EDI Training provides beginning to advanced instruction on how the IAIABC's EDI standards are developed, used, and implemented. Available EDI Training courses are as follows:
EDI Claims Release 3
Attendees will appreciate an in-depth presentation of the business and technical rules needed to understand and use the IAIABC's Claims Release 3 product. Claims Release 3, the cutting edge of electronic First and Subsequent Report of Injury claims reporting to jurisdictions, has been adopted by several states, with many others also planning to implement it soon. Release 3 training, developed by the most knowledgeable team in the country who have all been intimately involved in its development, has consistently received high praise for its content and presentation.
EDI 101: Basic Concepts of IAIABC EDI for Workers' Compensation
Attendees will learn the basic concepts of submitting WC reports using IAIABC's EDI Products.
EDI 201: Intermediate Claims Reporting
Attendees will learn intermediate concepts in EDI claim reporting, predominantly for Release 1 but with some Release 3 content. Coursework is mostly focused on reporting edits and acknowledgments.
EDI 301: Advanced Claims Reporting
Attendees will learn advanced technical concepts for EDI claim reporting. This class is for those with computer programming knowledge and responsibilities, although EDI business staff can also benefit from the information provided.
EDI POC: Proof of Coverage Reporting
Attendees will learn how to report workers' compensation insurance policy information via EDI.
EDI Medical: Medical Bill Reporting
Attendees will learn about the business and technical aspects of sending medical bill and payment data to jurisidictions using EDI.
