Central States Association
About
The Central States Association (CSA) was founded in 1974 as a voluntary association of workers' compensation agencies serving states in the Upper Midwestern part of the United States. These states have relatively similar legal and administrative systems. Central States members are proud of their progressive and innovative delivery of services to injured workers, employers, and other stakeholders.
The central states region includes the following states: Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
The Association is not incorporated. All net income or proceeds from events are kept in a trust account by the IAIABC.
Central States is governed by a constitution that is available for download: Constitution of Central States Association
Mission
The object of the CSA is to bring together representatives of the various members at least once a year to discuss the problems and experiences arising out of the administration of workers' compensation laws, particularly those affecting the central region and to propose and evaluate solutions to those problems.
