The IAIABC has four different membership types, each serving a different type of organization and that organization's needs. All IAIABC memberships are organizationally-based, and any employee of a member organization may receive IAIABC member benefits. 

U.S. Jurisdictional Member

U.S. Jurisdictional Members are governmental agencies, commissions, boards, councils, and courts that administer and regulate workers' compensation acts, systems, and schemes in the United States. Dues start at $1,800 per calendar year.

Non-U.S. Jurisdictional Member

Jurisdictional members are governmental agencies, commissions, boards, councils, and courts that administer and regulate workers' compensation acts, systems, and schemes and are located outside of the United States or are a tribal nation. Dues are $1,800 per calendar year.

Associate Member

Associate Membership is for private sector organizations (non-governmental agencies) involved or interested in the workers' compensation industry. These organizations could include insurers, third party administrators, medical providers, law firms, service providers, employers, and more. Dues start at $600 per year.

EDI Member

EDI members are private sector organizations (non-governmental agencies) involved or interested in the workers' compensation industry, and also have a specific interest in electronic data interchange reporting. These organizations could include insurers, third party administrators, service providers, employers, and more. Dues start at $1,747 per year. 

There are three categories of EDI Membership: Insurer/Third Party Administrator/Claims Payer; Reporting Vendor; and Non-Reporting Vendor/Other.
