IAIABC 4th Annual Excellence Award

The IAIABC Excellence Award, formerly the Innovation Award, recognizes jurisdictions for the development of successful solutions to reduce harm and aid recovery from occupational injuries and illnesses. These solutions address policy and program challenges jurisdictions face while regulating and administering workers’ compensation.

The Award will recognize governmental entities (such as agencies, boards, commissions, rating bureaus, councils, and courts) that administer and regulate workers’ compensation acts, systems, and schemes.

Important Dates

All entries must be received via the online submission form by Friday, May 24, 2019. Hard copies of materials are not accepted.

The honoree will be selected and notified by Friday, June 28, 2019

List the primary agencies or jurisdictions being nominated.
Please provide an overview of the initiative, its scope, its benefits, and key players involved. Include a clear statement of the business problem, goals and objectives, and the target audience. (500 words maximum).
Describe your approach in solving the problem. What tools, technologies, resources, or ideas did you leverage and/or implement? (500 words maximum)
How well did the project/initiative meet its stated goals and objectives? How did your organization indirectly and indirectly benefit? Did the program produce significant outcomes measurements? Describe the biggest obstacle you faced and how your team overcame it. When noting your success, please provide quantitative (i.e. usage, cost and staff savings, return on investment) and qualitative metrics (improvements for citizens, trading partners, and/or employee experience). (500 words maximum)
