(Middleton, Wis. – November 15, 2017) – On Thursday, October 5, 2017, members of the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC) elected the 2017 – 2018 Board of Directors, with Matthew Carey, Chief Administrator of Rehabilitation and Education Units, Rhode Island Division of Workers’ Compensation becoming the IAIABC President.
The IAIABC Board of Directors is the governing body of the IAIABC, the largest association of workers’ compensation jurisdictional agencies in North America. The 2017 – 2018 Board of Directors is comprised of leaders from ten jurisdictional agencies and two ex-officio members.
Robert Doucette, Deputy Superintendent of Insurance, New Mexico Office of Superintendent of Insurance was newly elected to the Board of Directors. Mr. Doucette brings with him years of experience in public service, including as time spent as the Executive Deputy Director of New Mexico’s Workers’ Compensation Administration prior to his current role.
