IAIABC Calling for Candidates for Board of Directors
The IAIABC is currently calling for candidates for its Board of Directors, the governing body of the Association. The Board of Directors determines the vision, mission, and strategic direction of the 104-year old workers’ compensation association.
The IAIABC Board of Directors consists of up to thirteen jurisdictional representatives and two ex-officio non-jurisdictional members. Candidates for the jurisdictional members must be in an executive role in a member jurisdictional agency with policy and administrative responsibilities in workers’ compensation. A list of the current members of the Board of Directors can be found at www.iaiabc.org/board-of-directors.
Members of the Board of Directors serve one year terms. The slate of candidates is voted on by the jurisdictional membership of the IAIABC at its Convention, which will be held this year October 1-4, 2018, in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Interested candidates are asked to complete an application; the application can be found at www.iaiabc.org/board-of-directors. As part of the application, candidates will be asked to attach a current resume or CV. For full review, candidate interest is requested by August 3, 2018.
