IAIABC NextGen recognizes young, talented leaders in workers’ compensation as the industry, like many others, moves to adapt and thrive in a changing world. For its 2018 and second annual NextGen awards, the IAIABC has recognized seven individuals under the age of 40 who are making their mark on the industry.
The IAIABC congratulates the following recipients of the 2018 IAIABC NextGen Award:
Aubrey Chigwada, Insurance Compliance Manager, Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission
Dineika Jefferson, Office Manager, Missouri Division of Workers’ Compensation
Bri Lake, Research Analyst, Montana Employment Relations Division
Jennifer Norleen-Beitel, Director of Employer Services, Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board
Colby Painter, Systems Analyst, Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission
Stephanie Pauley, Legal Manager/Account Examiner Supervisor, Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation
The NextGen selection committee faced a difficult task in selecting this year’s recipients. Says Abbie Hudgens, Administrator of the Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and IAIABC President-Elect, “The NextGen Award recipients all had very impressive resumes of work and were held in high esteem by their nominators. The IAIABC applauds the hard work, dedication, and new ideas they are bringing to the industry, and we look forward to seeing the great things this group will accomplish in the future.”
Recipients will participate in a special session at the IAIABC 104th Convention on Tuesday, October 3, “A Conversation with the NextGen,” in Williamsburg, Virginia. Recipients will also be profiled in the October issue of Perspectives, the IAIABC’s quarterly digital magazine.
