Event Overview

Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Central Time

Telemedicine has made its splash in general healthcare and is making its way to workers’ compensation. As telemedicine is used more frequently in treating injured workers, the industry has questions about regulatory, policy, and administrative practices and is seeking answers.

During this complimentary member webinar, participants will hear from several experts on the high-level considerations regulators should make when discussing, drafting, or developing telemedicine policy, regulation, or administrative guidance.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the experiences in working with jurisdictions, providers, and other stakeholder groups in developing telemedicine regulation.

Webinar participants will also get early access to a paper developed by the IAIABC Associate Member Council’s Telemedicine Working Group. The paper takes a deeper dive into more technical questions and considerations when developing telemedicine policy and regulation.
