There are twelve IAIABC committees and two councils that are actively creating resources, holding informative discussions, and developing standards for IAIABC members and the workers' compensation industry.
Committee membership is an excellent way to stay abreast of current issues and upcoming trends in workers' compensation. Committee members, aside from the Associate Member Council and EDI Council, serve one year terms.
IAIABC committee members work to support the mission of the IAIABC to find solutions and aid recovery from occupational injuries and illnesses.
Committees develop information and resources for the IAIABC membership and workers' compensation industry. Broad committee member participation in these activities is critical to ensuring quality work is being produced and disseminated.
Committee members often collaborate with other committees on joint projects that further the understanding of important workers' compensation issues.
Through active participation in in-person committee meetings at the IAIABC Convention and The Forum as well as teleconferences throughout the year, members stay connected to the issues and projects their committees are working on and addressing.
