The IAIABC Convention brings together workers’ compensation regulatory and industry professionals to engage in informative sessions, collaborative dialogue, and insightful meetings on workers’ compensation policy, regulation, and legislation. Each year representatives from more than 40 jurisdictions from North America and abroad and 65 industry organizations attend Convention. 

Convention session goals:

  • Share research, innovative programs, and new perspectives with workers’ compensation influencers.
  • Provoke important discussions with workers’ compensation administrators and regulators from around the globe about current and emerging issues.

With “Tune In” as the 108th Convention theme, attendees are encouraged to:

  • Actively listen to presenters, peers, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Hear diverse perspectives.
  • Understand and respect the differences between us and between our systems, while seeing the similarities and learning from each other.

Call for Proposals

The IAIABC is opening a call for proposals for the 108th Convention. The call for proposals will be open from March 24 through May 6. Proposals will be notified of status in early June. Please use the form below to submit your proposal. Learn more about the types of sessions here

Speaker Format and Benefits

The Convention will be hosted in-person with the hope of streaming some programming to virtual participants. We are asking that all speakers, moderators, and panelist present in-person. Speakers receive a complimentary one-day registration or a full Convention registration at a reduced rate of $500.
