"Dive-In Discussions" invite IAIABC members to participate in discussions on various topics, some specific to workers’ compensation and others more general in nature. Each discussion will be preceded by a short presentation from an IAIABC community member.
The topic for this Dive-In Discussion is data visualization. There is a lot of data in workers' compensation, and the data is often not presented in ways that are easy to understand or digest. In comes data visualization. Data visualization takes numbers and information - data - and puts it into charts, graphs, pictures, and more. Data visualization is a more digestible, and sometimes interactive, way to share information with customers and stakeholders. Join the IAIABC for a presentation by Nhut Nguyen, Data Visualization Analyst for the Center for Workers' Compensation Studies at NIOSH, and participate in discussion about data visualization concepts, tools, and ideas.
