IAIABC Board of Directors Call for Candidates for 2023-2024 Term
Want to be a Change Agent for Workers’ Compensation?
The IAIABC is calling for candidates for its Board of Directors, the governing body of IAIABC. The board determines the vision, mission, and strategic direction for the association, so it has an important role in charting the future of the organization.
The International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions is a not-for-profit association representing government agencies charged with the administration of workers’ compensation systems as well as other workers’ compensation organizations in the private sector. The IAIABC empowers, educates, and connects the global workers’ compensation community to reduce harm and aid recovery from work injuries and illnesses.
Individuals interested in serving on the Board of Directors must be in an executive role in a member jurisdictional agency with policy and administrative responsibilities in workers’ compensation. The Nominating Committee may recommend up to one candidate for the 2023-2024 term.
Members of the Board of Directors serve one year terms. The slate of candidates is voted on by the jurisdictional membership of the IAIABC at the Business Meeting to be held on September 14, 2023.
Interested in board membership? If you are, we ask that you complete the application that can be found at https://www.iaiabc.org/board-of-directors. As part of the application, candidates will be asked to attach a current resume or CV. Applications should be received by July 17, 2023. If you have questions, please contact Nominating Committee chair Gregor Kemper at nominating@iaiabc.org with any questions about the Board of Directors or the nominating process.
