The EDI Medical and ProPay Committee will discuss any changes and or needs that may impact the standard. The group will begin reviewing the IAIABC Workers' Compensation Electronic Medical Billing Model Rule and Companion Guide for clarification and necessary updates.

Dr. Michael LaCroix, Medical Director with The Hartford Financial Services Group, and Pam Bloom- Pugliese, Director of Product Management at ODG, will discuss mental health conditions and how they can affect other medical conditions, including work-related diagnoses and disability. This will be followed by a panel discussion on how psychiatric conditions impact return-to-work. The Committee is also engaged in a project to create training modules on work disability prevention and return to work for the IAIABC community.

The EDI Proof of Coverage Committee will discuss any changes and or needs that may impact standard. The group will look at jurisdiction updates to the Edit Matrix Population Restrictions and processing tips for the 80 and 86 triplicate codes within the Implementation Guide. POC implementation updates will be provided by Michigan and Oklahoma and the group will receive an update from our WCIO representative.

The Regulation Committee will hear from a representative from the Coalition for Insurance Fraud about their task force report and how it relates to workers' compensation fraud. The Committee will also hear from OSHA on the data they collect and what insights can be gained from this existing data. Those presentations will be followed by a roundtable discussion.
