Professional Bio
Dr. Brian Wilson joined the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) in August 2015 and currently serves as the Director of Health Partnership Program (HPP) Operations and Research. In partnership with BWC’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Wilson helps develop policies and strategic initiatives that promote safe, high quality, equitable, and cost-effective care delivered at the right time and in the right setting across the continuum. Before joining BWC, Dr. Wilson spent more than 17 years in private practice as a Doctor of Chiropractic, gaining extensive experience treating patients with neurologic and musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Wilson earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic and a Master of Health Administration from Ohio University. He has been active within the IAIABC, where he currently serves as a member on the board of directors as the IAIABC’s president-elect and is a member and former Vice Chair of the Medical Issues Committee. His previous leadership roles include serving as a board member and past president of the Ohio State Chiropractic Board, contributing to Ohio’s Department of Health Youth Sports Concussion and Head Injury Guidelines Committee, and serving as a former member of the Board of Advisors for Franciscan University of Steubenville.
