The Committee will also hear a presentation about the importance of identifying our needs to fully leverage AI's potential, emphasizing the crucial role of organizations and management in shaping the future of AI in workers' compensation.

Attend the Work Disability Prevention and Return to Work Committee to hear a presentation on PTSD and Its Doppelgangers from The Hartford and Enlyte. This presentation will discuss an overview of PTSD to include diagnostic criteria, history, and distinguishing features between concussions and PTSD, as well as evidence-based research on treatment, standard pharmacy interventions, and novel treatments that may come down the road. Proactive interventions in the acute phase of a traumatic event will also be addressed. Considerations of return-to-work challenges and possible solutions will also be explored throughout the presentation. This will be followed by a subcommittee update on education modules and networking time.
Join us at the upcoming EDI Systems Committee meeting where we'll delve into essential trading partner table updates, finalize glossary enhancements, engage in a stimulating panel discussion exploring real-time processing and emerging technologies, and deliberate on XML updates pertinent to FROI, POC, and potential Medical formats.

Join the Associate Member Council for an informative discussion about Utilization Review and how it is impacting the injured worker, medical outcomes, and claim costs. Our panel will share their observations around how and why UR impacts the timeline for treatment, quality of care and return to work. How do we ensure that Utilization Review is servicing employees, employers and medical providers in ways it was intended to, without adding administrative delays, hassle and cost to the system? We will also touch on how new technologies may change how Utilization Review works in the future.
The AMC will also discuss a potential project on best practices in stakeholder communications and hear an update on the AMC's telehealth paper.

IAIABC Affiliate Events Policy
As a supporter of the IAIABC and IAIABC event attendee, you are encouraged not to attend or participate in outside events that take away from the education and networking opportunities provided during IAIABC conference programming hours.
Please note that the IAIABC prohibits any organization from hosting private events during conference hours or in conflict with any scheduled IAIABC after-hours events. These times include:

Tuesday, September 12 – 7:30 am – 11:30 am and 1:00 pm – 5:30 pm

About The IAIABC Forum 2024
The focus of The Forum is collaboration. At The Forum, the IAIABC's committees and councils discuss policy and administrative issues in workers' compensation, and attendees may also take part in special seminars and workshops on hot industry topics and trends based on committee work.
Through the exchange of ideas, information, and strategies, attendees of The Forum learn from each other and develop relationships and networks they can use throughout their careers in the industry.
The IAIABC is one of the only places where regulators and private industry stakeholders sit at the same table in committee meetings and seminars, generating new ideas and strategies side by side.
Who Participates?
The Forum is attended by regulators, administrators, medical directors, claims administrators, medical providers, service providers, government affairs, administrative law judges, insurers, and other industry stakeholders.
You do not need to be an IAIABC committee member to attend and participate in The Forum. All are welcome!
