EDI Claims Release 3.1 Updates Webinar 2026

This webinar will cover updates to the EDI Claims Release 3.1 standard and how those changes impact the standard.

Updates in the 2025 edition of the Claims Release 3.1 publication include:

• New Value for Benefit Adjustment Code:
  • Added a new code to the Benefit Adjustment Code to support reporting a decrease in cost of living, improving accuracy in benefit adjustment reporting.
• Addition of MTC AB to Benefit Payment Issue Date Definition and DP Rule:
  • Updated the definition and DP rule for DN0192 to include SROI AB as an impacted MTC, ensuring consistency and completeness in reporting.
• Allowance for FN to Report Missing Reduced Earnings:
  • Enhanced reporting flexibility by allowing an additional FN to be submitted when Reduced Earnings segments were previously missing.
• Clerical Correction to MTC NT DP Rule:
  
  • Corrected a previously misstated DP rule for MTC NT to ensure accuracy and alignment with intended reporting requirements.
• XML Flat File Mapping Update:
  • Corrected the length of the Filler – Future Defined Usage field that follows DN0444 (Date Claim Administrator Decision to Fully Deny) on both the FROI and SROI XML Flat File Mapping records.
