Executive Dialogues: New Fraud Scheme

The IAIABC has been made aware of a fraud scheme occurring in several U.S. states. It involves fraudulent communications being sent to Spanish-speaking individuals, convincing them to appear at an online workers' compensation hearing regarding a settlement. The hearing includes a fake judge, attorneys, and other officials. The individual is contacted after the hearing and told to pay a fee to receive their settlement. 

To learn more about what the scheme involves and discuss ways to address it, the IAIABC is scheduling a virtual Executive Dialogues meeting on Monday, February 9 at 12:00 pm CST.
